As a healthcare organization, we set high workplace health standards and encourage healthy living at both the CHC corporate office and our affiliated hospitals. This commitment is reflected in our policies and practices.

 

CHC is proud to be a tobacco and drug free workplace. In support of this, candidates for employment are required to participate in a pre-employment tobacco and drug screening process once a conditional offer has been made and, results must be received before employment can begin.

 

Once employed, employees who enroll in CHC’s medical plan can take advantage of healthy rewards:

  • Wellness program – free access to a personal health coach, wellness tips and goal setting
  • Wellness credits – annual health assessment results within normal ranges can mean monthly wellness credits on insurance premiums (up to $145 per month for each the employee and spouse)
