Janet Theaker

VP Human Resources

Janet Theaker serves as the VP of Human Resources and in this role is responsible for handling the human resource needs of Community Hospital Corporation as well as providing an array of human resources, financial and operational consulting services for Community Hospital Corporation and Community Hospital Consulting. These services have included executive search, executive coaching, and Board level executive compensation committee governance and support.

Prior to joining CHC, Janet worked as a Business Relations and Communications Manager on the American Airlines/AMR account at EDS in Plano, Texas. Janet has also served as Managing Director of Employee Relations at SABRE, Inc. in Fort Worth. Prior to working in the IT field, Janet spent over 20 years in healthcare human resources leadership roles including Director of Human Resources at Zale Lipshy University Hospital and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago and Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Janet received her degree in Industrial Sociology from the Ohio State University. She is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Janet also serves on the board of Camp Summit supporting the needs of disabled children and adults.
