Gary Looper

Regional Manager of Central Texas Operations

Gary Looper serves as Regional Manager of  Central Texas Operations for CHC. In this role, Gary  identifies opportunities for CHC’s growth by  developing relationships with key stakeholders  in Central Texas. Gary brings more than 20 years of experience leading a variety of healthcare organizations, from small rural hospitals and private ventures, to multi-hospital systems and corporate divisions.

 

Prior to working with CHC, Gary was a CEO with Community Health Systems (at former Triad Hospitals). His diverse expertise includes crafting innovative joint ventures between investor-owned and not-for-profit health systems, as well as between investors & physicians. He also offers broad experience developing and implementing turn–around strategies, physician integration strategies, employee relations programs, new facility development, customer satisfaction programs, strategic planning initiatives and service line improvement.

 

Gary has a BBA with a major in Marketing and a minor in Management from Lamar University. He has been a teacher and leader in numerous churches, having served as Youth Pastor and Deacon in Southern Baptist churches, and Elder for one of the largest Bible churches in Texas.

 

Gary lives in Dripping Springs, TX with his wife, Sheryl. They have four grown children and five grandchildren.
