Community Hospital Corporation Builds Corporate Staff by 8

PLANO, TX – (Sept. 29, 2015) – In response to a growing client base, Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) announces new corporate staff to further strengthen CHC’s depth of expertise to help where hospitals need it.


Mike Williams, president and CEO, said, “We are fortunate to have such a wealth of talent in our CHC family. We welcome into our fold those committed to help improve community hospitals and healthcare providers around the nation. We’re based in Plano, Texas, but our passion and influence extend to the 27 states and the community hospitals we own, manage and support.”


Sherri Aleksejczyk is Senior Perioperative Consultant for CHC. In her role, she works with Perioperative Services at CHC’s owned and managed hospitals and completes perioperative operational assessments for new facilities. Previously, she was Director of Quality/Risk for HCA’s Ambulatory Surgery Division-Gulf Coast, which encompassed the Houston/San Antonio/McAllen, Texas area.


Jill Bayless is SVP Clinical Services for CHC. In her executive role, she oversees the clinical excellence of CHC affiliated hospitals and provides consulting services to CHC Consulting clients. With more than 30 years of clinical expertise, Jill served prior as CNO/COO for Longview Regional Medical Center, Longview, Texas, for several years, providing clinical and operational oversight for several clinical departments.


Jennifer Beason is Receptionist/Office Assistant for CHC. Among her prior work experience, she was an Account Logistics-Customer Liaison for Direct Export in Dallas, Operations Manager for Triple Creek Academy in McKinney, Texas, and Administrative Assistant at Denton Regional Medical Center in Denton, Texas.


David Garcia is Director of Revenue Cycle and helps CHC hospitals increase financial performance by reviewing and optimizing processes while identifying new revenue opportunities. In prior roles, he was Senior Revenue Cycle Consultant for Nearterm Revenue Cycle Group, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Central Business Office Director for Memorial Health Systems of East Texas for several years.


Valerie Hayes is Planning Analyst for CHC. Most recently, she served as a Research Associate II at the University of Illinois working with the Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children. She served as a Nutrition Education Intern and Research Assistant for the Institute for Health Research and Policy while completing her Master’s degree.


Stephanie Hobson serves as Director of Physician Recruitment at CHC and assists CHC hospitals with physician recruitment and retention programs. In prior roles, she was Director of Physician and Clinical Operations Recruitment for MedSpring Urgent Care System, as well as System Director of Physician & Advanced Practice Professional Recruitment, Scott & White Health System.


Robert Michel is Corporate Director of Supply Chain where he develops and implements comprehensive supply chain management strategies to bring the greatest value from CHC Supply Trust. In prior roles, he was Regional Director of Materials Management for MedAssets, as well as Director of Materials Management at John Peter Smith Health Network in Ft. Worth, Texas, Mountainview Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, N.M, and Saint Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences, Missoula, Mont.


Whittney Walker is the Funding Program Manager for CHC. She helps CHC’s hospitals to navigate State and Federal programs (USAC, CTF, OUSF, TUSF), secure funding, and deliver improved telecommunications services through increased access. Prior to CHC, she worked for Network Services Solutions, LLC, where she oversaw state and federal funding administration, funding and regulatory telecommunications compliance, and financial analysis and modeling.
