Community Hospital Corporation Promotes and Builds Corporate Team


PLANO, TX – (Nov. 17, 2015) – Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) announces promotions and new corporate staff. CHC owns, manages and consults with hospitals through three distinct organizations – CHC Hospitals, CHC Consulting and CHC ContinueCARE, which share a common purpose to guide, support and enhance the mission of community hospitals and healthcare providers.

 

Laurie Breedlove, CHC’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, said, “We are excited about new talent and rewarding staff who are dedicated to improving and sustaining the community hospitals and healthcare providers we serve across the country.”

 

Breedlove also noted CHC’s recent award among The Dallas Morning News’ 2015 Top 100 Places to Work and recognition as 7th in the small company category. The award is based on employee responses to an independent survey. Read more.

 

New to CHC

Eva Deky has joined CHC as Staff Accountant of Finance. Most recently, Eva worked as a contract Senior Staff Accountant for Ambridge Hospitality in Plano, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas, and Masters in Accounting from Texas A&M – Commerce.

 

Promotions

Shelle Diehm has been promoted from field Interim CFO to Vice President of Hospital Finance for CHC. On board with CHC since January 2008, Shelle works with CHC hospitals to plan, organize, and implement financial strategies designed to maximize hospital financial performance. She also serves as a consultant to hospital financial leaders.

 

Nancy Lloyd has been promoted from Director to Vice President of Human Resources for Post-Acute Services for CHC. Nancy provides human resource expertise to the CHC ContinueCARE division, and human resource leadership and operational assistance for CHC’s long term acute care hospitals.

 

Michael Smith has been promoted from Network Administrator to Senior Network Administrator, Information Technology, for CHC. On board since 2011, he continues to support CHC network operations and engineering, and provide technical assistance for telecom funding programs including CHC’s Universal Services Administration Company consortium.

 

Lisa Vang has been promoted from Manager to Director of Payroll for CHC. She oversees all payroll and payroll employment tax functions for CHC and its affiliated hospitals. She also assists Post-Acute Services with the payroll implementation for CHC’s long term acute care hospitals and any post-acute care facility managed by CHC.
